Hornets named in State teams

The U/16 NSW Metro Basketball teams were named this week with Hills Hornets filling five of the twenty available spots.

Brittnee Sewell, Taylor Johnston and Zoe Burke were all named to the girls team while Sergio Antelmi and Siatua Solaese made the final cut in the boys team. Congratulations must also go to Ben Graham who was named as a reserve.

The girls team has an unusual make up with five of the ten places filled by bottom age girls. All three of the Hills girls fall into this category.

Both teams will have a hectic schedule of training sessions and trial games over the next two months in the lead up to the U/16 National Championships to be held in Logan, Queensland in early July.
